Besides raising three children…
We were kind of forced into it because our first child was born and we desperately needed a more steady income. I didn’t want to wait on tables or anything not artistic. At the time I didn’t even dream that animation would be something that I could actually learn, I found it much to time consuming and difficult to grasp. Then a friend of a friend who was an animator gave me enough confidence to approach a local studio AKACartoon where they do Ed, Edd, and Eddy and to make a long story short I got in with some help from an acquaintance. That was it, I began to love the art form once I started to learn more about the process, it wasn’t so scary after all. I really could see my wife and I working on projects of our own in the future, and now that’s becoming history.
Our class was about 18 students, ranging from late teens and up.
No, I use Flash 6 along with Animate Pro which I’m quite happy with.
To gain the best quality in the final product.
We haven’t created much as far as quantity, but we do have a lot on the back burner as far as concepts and ideas that we hope to get off the ground In the near future.
The camera moves are my favorite, the capability of the pen tool, 3D plane to work in. I know this is basic but I love working with the sound scrubs right in the program, and all the plug ins are really nice.
Animate Pro rocks for me.
I’d say to really get in all second nature about three weeks.
I feel like it’s a really good product and together just makes sense.
None currently, I’m actually got more involved with Gaming companies and doing concepts for them.
